Re: WTT for missing pets

I can probably pick up a Hippogryph Hatchling for you plus maybe a little Illidan gold to do a deal for a bnet card. I will send you a friend invite to discuss. PBCup#1312

Skywisp Moth has 2 color variations

(Credit goes to Wain from Petopia for this discovery!) Skywisp Moth comes in 2 colors: white winged and gray winged. It is a very slight variation, the wings look nearly the same but the difference is more noticeable in the antenna. Bodies appear to be identical. http://forums.wow-petopia.com/downlo...

Re: Battle Pet 3 Model UI?

As Quintessence said it's not an addon, but if you want to see it while in combat without having a pet dead, just click the 4th button "Switch Pet." You don't have to swap pets though, if you click "Switch Pet" again it will go away.

Re: (US) WTB: Beast/Flying Stones! -Complete

I had to trade in stones to get enough beast/flying for that last trade so I don't know how much of a trade I could do at this point (definitely wouldn't have enough to do a trade on the scale of the previous one). But I'll see what I can do, if you want to btag me to discuss.

Re: 250 PVP wins (Stunted Direhorn achievement) battles

I can't make it go faster or easier, but here's a few things you can do things to make it feel that way. :) - Set a realistic goal. I think mine was 10 wins a day, and after that, I stopped, even if I was on a winning streak. It kept the task from feeling too overwhelming. - Run more than 1 team. I ...

Re: (US) WTB: Beast/Flying Stones!

Argh, I just found your Worg Pup in my bags (the icon made me think it was a junk item). Btag me to pick it up, or if you'd like, I can mail it to the character you have listed on your site profile. Let me know, and I apologize for not seeing it earlier! EDIT: I went ahead and made a toon on your re...

Re: (US) WTB: Beast/Flying Stones!

Just completed this trade! Went quickly and easily considering the number of stones. My bags are greatly reduced in the number of blue skittles. :)

Re: CAGES (Types)

I believe there's currently 3 ranks of traps (cages). The regular is capture chance increased by 20% with each failed attempt, then the strong is 25%, and the pristine is 30%. You get the strong one for capturing 50 wild pets ("Going to need more traps" achieve), and the pristine for level...

Re: (US) Gilnean Raven S/S for trade.

how do you get your pet to s/s or does it come that way? or do you have to keep trying to get a new pet at the vendor? (from differnt friends). A pet's breed is set the moment its created, so you can't change it after picking it up. The S/S ravens are retired and can no longer be purchased from the...

Re: What's in a name? A guide to naming your battle pets.

Thank you, glad you found it useful. :) I have a couple of pets named after players who gave them to me, and I think that that's a fantastic way to thank them for the gift! A former guildmate of mine took it a step further and named pets after people on the raid team, and we all had a good laugh see...

Re: My Pet Team!

When you first start out, truthfully, any 3 pets will do. So certainly if you want to use those pets because you like them, you'll be able to level up to 25 with those. That said, if you want to optimize for wild pet battles, I would recommend a team makeup more like this: 1 beast, 1 mechanical, 1 f...

Re: Best way to collect rare pets via battling?

If you battle a pet and forfeit right a way it will respawn very quickly and will have the exact same pets. To get a new set of pets you need to do one of a couple things. 1) Kill at least 1 pet before you forfeit. if you do #1, does how long does it take to respawn? If you do #1 it's the exact sam...

Re: Best way to collect rare pets via battling?

No need to complete through the battle, the rarity of the pets in a group is determined the moment they spawn, so all the other pets in the area are already the rarity they are (I will admit I used to believe it too, that to increase the chance of rares I should complete EVERY SINGLE BATTLE... well,...

Re: WTS Bnet Balance cards

Hey Ravn, you had me down for 1 card on Illidan but I'll have enough funds by tomorrow for 2, if you happen to have an extra available. No rush on those, just contact me in game when you're ready to trade. Thanks!

Re: What are you training?

I would just pick up cheap/bargain pets and level them up to sell. People will still pay around 1k more for a level 25 pet versus a level 1. About the only thing you can do is fine-tune pet breeds. Like you don't have a P/P Azure Crane Chick for example. Try grabbing a S/S Bonkers(yea it sucks hunti...
