Re: Cleave Based Teams

RI into Grave Destruction is going be max ae dmg quickly but then you are pretty much locking yourself into passing one round with GD, Bonestorm and Consumption all being on CD. Bonestorm is higher damage than Grave Destruction, assuming it hits 3 pets. Let's assume Graves is the worst possible bre...

Re: Cleave Based Teams

Hoo boy, I can see it already, RI > Grave Destruction and then most likely at least 2 bonestorms before you can take it out, looks like fun times ahead. I can't say I'm very glad to see AoE comps get even more love :? Or maybe turn 1: RI turn 2: Bonestorm turn 3: Consume turn 4: Grave Destruction t...

Re: Cleave Based Teams

I'm hoping it's just a flavour of the month kind of thing... I'm sure some people will stick with this strategy for quite sometime, but hopefully a strong counter will surface that can deal with either the undead and the mechanical cleave teams. As it stands right now, the 3 best pets coming in 6.1...

Re: 6.1 changes

LOL My thoughts too. More predictable outcomes, less crit dependant? Yes, but more predictable is actually bad in this case. For example if your guy has 1400 health and I have 260 power then I KO you in 5 turns with Punch. But if I have 253 power then it takes 6 turns. Whereas before this small dif...

suspicious Hatesparks and HS rabbits

I will just link the wow forum post . There has been a large influx of Hatesparks across various US AHs this weekend, many from lvl 1 sellers who are also selling known dupe targets (cub, EST etc). Many of these sellers also have HS Darkmoon Rabbits, and HS rabbit is currently 3-4x more common than ...

Re: Raiding with Leashes III - info soon™!

Luciandk wrote:Grave Destruction

This is now attached to something called 'My Special Pet', which has the same base stats as ZZ02 and a slightly different but still very interesting moveset.

Re: Raiding with Leashes III - info soon™!

While I think that's possible, since it is the first build and only the gargoyle (granted, possibly K'ute as well) has any new abilities makes me think that there might be other new abilities that are planned but not in yet. Well, consider that WoD release had maybe 5 new abilities, and those pets ...

Re: Raiding with Leashes III - info soon™!

Since only the Gargoyle got new abilities so far, I would think that these are going to get changed a bit with new unique abilities (though the 3 fragments seem to be specifically different and somewhat fit their phases, so those might not change). All of them have unique movesets: I really wouldn'...

Re: .....are you kidding me? draenic pet battler 150 now?!

Was people really struggling that much with pet batles? If you mean struggling to stay awake while killing icespine hatchlings over and over, then I was definitely struggling. There's nothing challenging or difficult about grinding wild pet battles. This is definitely a good change. It should never...

Re: Wow 10th anniversary is live for EU

SS is the best possible breed for this. It could be a fairly aggravating force-swap pet (probably Flamethrower/Cauterize/Inferno Herding), and actually speed makes almost all of its movesets pretty good. The only trouble is at 325 it will still get outsped (or more often tied nowadays).

Re: Since when does Yen have takedown?

I see, thank you. The 11th hour Von Feasel change made Syd's behavior more consistent, Yes, this was especially noticeable with the spirit tamers too. They seem to be pushing more and more toward a puzzle type of game, where once you solve it, it's consistently solved by the same strat every time af...

Re: Since when does Yen have takedown?

They really needed a toning down. ... The whole Achievement is entirely for not-your-average-battle-pet player anyway, I think it's exactly where it needs to be. That's fine, I was just hoping for specifics, to get some insight into their design process. I don't think Trunks should be a super tough...

Re: Since when does Yen have takedown?

Do you happen to know how they were changed? For example vonFeasel is pretty fun but he got figured out very quickly, so the current version is not very hard. I'm curious what they consider to be 'too hard', and how they arrive at the balance they want.

Re: Since when does Yen have takedown?

Since 6.0! haha. Yeah, without Comeback you don't have to worry about avoiding an Undead in the first slot against Yen's all-Humanoid team. Not just that, Takedown does weak dmg to beasts, and Mr Grubbs/maggot already made this a pretty easy 2-pet fight (and occasionally 1-pet). Did anything else g...

Re: Grommloc - thoughts

I am fine that he is t the best battler because if OP then it is t fair. But have some cool animation murkalot was always doing something and most pets do and I think pay for pets should have some cool thing they do. Mostly agree, except there should be plenty of room to give CE/Blizzcon pets inter...

Re: Which WoD pet are you most interested in collecting?

That's one way to go; Darkness might be helpful on its own too, since tanky/healy pets are troublesome for avoidance critters. Frostfur Rat could be a nifty partner in that case. Or, maybe just good old Crow, since beasts are your other big problem. But it's possible that the Sneak Attack bonus dama...

Re: Synergic Team

Is there, at the moment, a team(s) with such incredibly good synergy/affinity/game dynamics as the one I used to play with? If you mean synergy, then maybe; but if you mean power level, then no. Feign Death was rather silly at 5 round cd, and many control abilities from back then have had their coo...

Re: Grommloc - thoughts

RI could stand a minor nerf. But in terms of flavor/design/innovation, Murk was a huge success, and is still almost certainly the gold standard for Blizzcon/CE-type pets. I'd much much rather have current Murk than a useless version. Gromm definitely went too far in the 'safe' direction. Mighty Char...

Re: Which WoD pet are you most interested in collecting?

I'd have to say the Frostwolf Ghost Pup because have you seen that little face?! XD They buffed Refuge compared to the beta version, so that it now puts a shield on 'the caster and each friendly critter' (rather than just 'each friendly critter'). Ghostpup + rabbit + X could potentially have a ridi...
