The exact patch note says "Pet Battles in the wild and duels are now viewable by other players in the world."

I had a Triple Rare in Outland when I was first levelling my pets. I didn't know which one I wanted to catch, but in the end it didn't matter, because they killed my team

This Saturday I went around to all the pet tamers and got 5 battlestones. Every other day this week I got none (except an odd 1). This doesn't mean I should start saving them to open on Saturday
