I think the love affair is over.

When I started this, I really liked pets. I liked what they stood for, and how much they could say about you.

It's all gone now.

Pets are now just a service for the collectors. Blizzard throws a bone every once in awhile and just adds a meaningless grind for the next batch of +1 ticks on the pets counter. It's meaningless. It's something that they feel obligated to do, and they put about as much effort into carrying it out. Anything that's decently interesting they hold back and make another store pet cash cow to be sacrificed.

The magic is all gone.
