I'm a casual player but I love eye candy, and what is more interesting than a cute and cuddly or a disgusting or frightful little companion? Being a Hunter I already have a pet out so it's nice to sometimes match that pet up with a smaller version. Example, a panther with the bombay cat, Moth with blue moth, etc.
I also have a Druid who loves her little white kitten which she has named peacebloom. =3
