About Luci:
I have been a minipet collector since I first started the game back in 2007. My husband got me into WoW and used to make fun of me running around Darkshore with my little Hawk Owl - back then we didn't have a whole lot of pet options!
The sprite darter hatchling is my favorite pet because I found out about it through my love for the Fey Dragons in Stonetalon Mountains. I looked them up on thottbott to see if hunters could tame them (I was playing a druid at the time, but planning to play a hunter next) and read in the comments that there was a pet with the same skin! I never will forget running around Feralas with my husband killing evil Grimtotems to rescue the sprite darters from their cages!

My personal top ten (in no particular order) would probably be:
1. Sprite Darter Hatchling
2. Magical Crawdad
3. Kirin Tor Familiar
4. Moonkin Hatcling
5. Mojo
6. Blue Dragonhawk Hatchling
7. Cenarion Hatchling
8. Tiny Sporebat
9. Clockwork Rocket Bot
10. Brilliant Kaliri
Although there are so many that I love! It's hard.

In-game models that I would love to see made into pets:
All the different shades of turtles from the Polymorph: Turtle Tome for mages. Especially the brown one with the blue shell and big blue eyes! Would love it to be a new fishing pet.
The beetles are cute too. They would make good Nerubian archaeology pets.

I love some pets for their interesting hunts (Kirin Tor Familiar), some for their cuteness alone (Cenarion Hatchling), some for their interactiveness (Mojo and Moonkin), and some for their ties to other things (Withers and Auberdine).
My collection is mostly held by my main, but I am an altoholic, so I like to make sure all my alts have cool pets too.
In general, I have a "thing" against spending real money on these pets, for various reasons, so you won't see many in my collection. Though I try to excuse the charity ones ;)
Thanks to Klaudiviris for my Lil' XT, Redeemersven-Norgannon for my Landro's Lil' XT, and thanks to my husband for all his help along the way. Thanks to Blizz for giving me a hobby within a hobby, and thanks to WarcraftPets site for giving us a way to keep up with it all and such a wonderful community to share with!
