I updated my collection to reflect my entire account wide pet pool. It's kind of confusing keeping track of my pets in the in-game pet journal at the moment when I have so many multiples. I'd like to clean it up by releasing all but one of each type, but it just feels wrong somehow to delete a pet.

I haven't been a pet collector for very long; I really just started collecting pets near the end of Cata after I'd heard about the pet battle system coming in MoP. Since I didn't yet know which pets were going to be the best battlers, I wanted to have the largest possible pool of pets to choose from. I now have most of the pets available by in-game means in my account wide collection, but once MoP drops there will be many more to collect.
