Finally got one of these babies on Azuremyst at 3:30pm CTRL had a magic stone ready was P/S breed. Not bad and finally search is over.

Got very lucky on the second try got the +damage breed as a rare shortly after rain stopped. Was much faster period of time (of the rain) then other pets like this.

So you can't really see the snow when you're just flying around (at least I didn't) but when I got close to one it started to show and when in battle you can really tell. It really does need to be snowing.
