326 casts here. But finally got it!

Finally got this one. I feel kind of bad, but not really. I got up there and there was a NE druid sitting there. But Jadefang was right behind him! So I ran up to tag him and I actually had to vanish at first cause he almost killed me, lol. I was sitting there going pleasedontcomebackpleasedontcomeback in my mind as i got my health back up to try again. Druid still sitting there, then goes "away" and i tag Jadefang again and killed him the second time and got my pet. Snooze you lose, right? ;)

It took me a good 9 hours total to *finally* get this pet. And like someone else said, I could do NOTHING ELSE until I got it.

Good things about the farm: They respawn quick, so even with another farmer it was no big deal. They also drop a lot of junk that sells for a decent amount.

Bad thing (besides the low drop rate): Skinners can't skin them!!! (if this is a bug and Blizz hotfixes it in to make them skinnable, they will owe me. HUGE).

The drop rates for the sticks were pretty low when I tried farming this pet with a friend. We went through the whole instance and killed every single mob except the bosses, and only got about 6 sticks each.

Luckily though, we ended up BOTH getting a mojo during this run (the first and only time I have ever been in ZA!). So I can see we both just got extremely lucky.

Yep, albino snakes are usually yellow or red, not white.

Leucistic snakes, however, are solid white. But have black eyes, and pink tongues. So this guy is sort of a mix of both even though its impossible ;)

Well it doesn't make sense to change his eye color, as having red eyes made perfect sense- Pengu is very obviously a rockhopper penguin. Real rockhopper penguins have red/orange eyes.

This was the first whelpling I have ever gotten. I got it in that little pathway in the badlands, and boy was I excited! I ended up farming it once again in the same area for a friend as a surprise, and got yet one more as well for selling on the AH. I have tried farming this on numerous other characters in dustwallow marsh but no luck. I seem to have had much better luck in the badlands, if this helps anyone who is sick of trying in dustwallow =)
