I went to Zul'Mashar for 3-4 hours grinding my heart away. Nothing.I must have opened at least 75 bags. So I left for the day and came back the next day. A person on my server said that the more people you have in your caravan the better your chances. LIES! It seemed to lower my bag drop rate. I then went south of lights hope to farm grubbs for 4 more hours and still nothing. My heart sank and I was sure this pet was a myth! I went back to Zul and got him in 5 mintues. HE does exist!!

I guess I should have read all the comments before I set out to get this guy. The vendor is in a cave - i ran around looking for him outside of the cave and couldn't find him. I also kept running past the cave he is in not even realizing it was a cave. When you get in there he is spawned at the back. He is an apothecary so the props around him are similar to what you would see in UC. The vendor is a quest target for the alliance so if he isn't there when you get there, wait it out!

The first 2 times I found this pet I went in the cave and it wasn't there. The matriarch was spawned on the main pedestal with no nest. So I killed her and about 15 mins later the nest spawned right there. I think it might have just been a coincidence because the third time I was in there I killed her and nest didn't spawn. The 4th time I went in she wasn't there but the nest was. All 4 times the matriarch or nest was on the main pedestal.

The first week cata was launched I found this pet up to 3 times a day. I had sooo many of them I was just giving them to my friends and selling a few on the AH. I figured I would find more so I didn't even use one because at the time I wasn't sure what character was going to collect pets. Its now been a month since I have seen the nest :(

I was able to get this pet a couple of days ago.
I had heard that more than one real book can't spawn at the same time. Well let me tell you that on the first day I found 4 books all spawned at the same time. The other 4 of course didn't spawn like that. This achievement took about 4 days to complete and that was with heavy camping. Except for the moments I am sleeping I checked every 3-4 hours. ALSO I want to point out that (on my server at least) the books don't spawn for closer to four hours
