I don't think this pet is just found at night. At 12pm server time, I decided to go into Duskwood and get a hold of the pets I was still missing. I was flying overhead and spotted a bunch of these lil guys. I tamed the first one I saw thinking I may have found a fluke. To my happiness he was a rare. I don't know if server matience had anything to do with this, but from some of the other comments, I am thinking his spawn times may have changed.

The Mama bear Method is very helpful. I was fortunate in that I didn't have to deal with an over crowded zone. I was able to mark the Cub spawning bears and make a path for myself to track. Sadly after an hour of farming I can across only one Uncommon. The rare Zombie pet still eludes me..However He's wicked cute in a zombie kinda way. I may name him Romero =)

Finally got my hands on a poor quality of this guy. Normally I wont keep a poor quality pet but after weeks of parking an alt on that isle. I am satified to just have this cutie in my collection. To make the tame even more epic..the isle was littered with people looking for the baby apes and I d/ced once in the middle of a fight! Luckily when i was able to log back on my baby ape was still around. I snagged the capture and the rain stopped 30 seconds later. The wow pet gods were smiling upon me today =)

This pet seems to spawn with great abundance during the morning hours. I Logged in around 8pm cleared the cave by skull rock 4 or 5 times as suggested by a post, with no success of spawning these lil guys. I logged after about an hour and came back in the morning ( 6am server) The cave was crawling with them I was able to snag a rare on my third battle. My advice, if your having issues finding this guy, wait until the Am.

Found mine this morning at 730 am server time. I spent the past three days in the southern barrens seeking out this cute lil fella. Found an uncommon green strolling with his mama over by Fort Triumph. I did another pass through the zone after taming mine to see if any more had popped, none had. By far one of the harder to track down pets I've come across so far. He is however totally worth the time, absolutely amazing pet!!
