I tricked and treated all last year, nothing. This year, my Warlock gets him on her second Horseman run!
He reminds me of the Great Pumpkin from a Robot Chicken "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" parody, just not quite as evil. (surprisingly not available on YouTube)
Still, let's hope this little guy doesn't run into any Kite-Eating Trees.

I got this one after about 4 runs through Zul'Gurub, about the same rate as the Deviant Hatchling. Be patient; he'll drop, and farming this pet is a good excuse to go after the Raptor and Tiger mounts that occasionally drop in here too.

Horde players can do several Faerie Dragon-killing quests at the same time: "A New Cloak's Sheen", where an Orc wants the dragons' shimmering wings to make a cloak for his wife (awwww!) and "Faerie Dragon Muisek", part of the Muisek quest chain for the Troll Witch Doctor Uzer'i. Might as well get some Orgrimmar and Darkspear rep while farming the little buggers.

I looked for the Matriarch for all 20 days I had for my Venomhide Ravasaur mount quest with my Hunter, and never once saw her, not even with Track Beasts. This is definately one of the more difficult raptors to get. Wish me better luck taking my Forsaken alt out there.

I got this pet with my Troll Mage, who started out the Midsummer Fire Festival at level 16. Thank whatever gods Trolls believe in that Mages learn blink fairly early on - I wouldn't have been able to *get* all the flowers necessary for this pet without it. It was well worth it though, even trying to sneak through Ally areas with a little Troll noob. I had my Spirit of Summer following me around for a month straight afterwards.

I want one of these for my Hunter, to go along with my Corrupted Scorpid pet. Any Hunter with an Armoured Scorpid or similarly coloured one would find this small pet an adorable match!

- Tristfal Batling and Pengu on Tay. Got to get back up to Northrend!
- Darkmoon Faire pets. 2/6 now! I'm getting there
- Blue Proto-drake mount on Cerah. With the new 4.3 gear, Skaddi's not giving me any more trouble to solo, yay! He will soon join Kael'thas in MT for daily beatings :P

- Nightsaber Cub! Bought 1 pack of cards at Wal-mart while out Xmas shopping, and got lucky!
- Sea Pony! At the fair, decided to fish while waiting for RDF, and got it on my 12th cast.
- Fossilized Hatchling on Tay!
- The Sunreaver's Shimmering Wyrmling! Now just the Batling to go, and I'll have all the AT pets!
- BOTH Lunar Festival lanterns!
