It took me around a month of farming this pet, but it totally paid off. I got it today, and now am off to go farm that stubborn Pebble.

I chose this as my first DMF pet, and got it today =) What made it even sweeter is that it's my 125th, so I got my Brilliant Kaliri as well! And being a hunter I just had to go tame the matching Kaliri. Time to go strut my stuff in Org =)

I've been doing the Northrend daily fishing quests for months, MONTHS, and have never seen this pet drop. Granted I did not know it was a reward for the daily. I am also trying to get that damn sewer rat, my which has cause my fishing to b raised to 420, but the rat still eludes me. But now that I know the strand cralwer exists, I am going to be crossing my fingers every time I turn in my quest, and get all depressed when it doesn't drop.

I do agree with those that say that collecting pets just isn't the same as before, and the same attachment from farming a rare just isn't there. But I'm thinking the mass of people will get bored of lvling their pets, and it will be back to us pet colletors who will be the only ones able to tame those really high lvl ones. And there are still those rare questable ones we need to add to our collection! So good luck pet collectors!
