I wish he looked more like the plushy, his head looks very awkward... Its like hes supposed to be cute but he has a serious face.

I get a lot of comments about this pet when I do random dungeons, he definitely does stand out - for those who look. Since he is mostly transparent he is not as easily seen as a normal pet that follows your feet, because he floats behind you and his skull is even with your shoulders (blood elf). But when your party takes a mana break everyone is like "What is that??"

Kinda sad about this one being bind on pick up, can't by it and send it to my alts.

I really like the raptor pet series, and I hope they release more. The best thing about this pet (by far) is the fact that you don't have to spend countless hours sitting in a jungle looking for a nest or killing every raptor in Azeroth.

I had tried to farm this pet with no avail. A friend of mine realized my frustration (at that time lvl 60ish hunter), so he farmed me one over night to surprise me. But he experienced lagg when he went to put it into the bank and accidentally learned it...and he spent the rest of the night getting me another one.

But the reason why I'm posting is not only to share my story but to tell everyone that they are good for skinning rugged leather and thick leather. So says my awesome friend :3

He's so cute! But for more useful information. I got mine yesterday after circling the trees in the area he was said to be found I found the nest wedged between a palm tree and a big tree (typical big trees in Un'Goro) around the area under the "Micky Mouse" looking pond.
Even better, I suggest doing the quests for the Whistle of the Venomhide mount, because you have to go back to Un'Goro every other day for the quest (1 out of 3). I got my hatching on day 6 of raising my baby venomhide.
