Today I was just about to log out in front of the spawn spot for my last Higher Learning book when it popped up! So after almost a year I finally have my Kirin Tor Familiar. Definitely one of my favorite pets and it goes perfectly with my mage. :)

Raven Lord (4 Anzu kills so far and no drop yet, but everyday I get through the instance a little faster :D)

Fossilized Raptor (need to start farming archaeology again)

I think my Murkablo is cursed. I seem to die a lot more when I bring him with me into PvP and dungeons and the horseman daily kill takes an unreasonable amount of time when he's out. Maybe it's because he's so hyper...I can barely stand still for two seconds without him breathing fire or blowing smoke rings! It can get a little distracting sometimes but not enough to subtract from his value as a pet at all. Curse or no curse, he's still one of my most prized pets.

The quest chain leading up to getting this guy is fun and not too long. And I was able to cheat a little--someone else killed Mauti, and then when I went up to the corpse, Bwemba inspected it automatically, completing the quest and unlocking the next two, which give you this guy. Plus, I'm guilt-free because technically I never killed his mom. ;D

I know that they're offering these as a contest prize on wowhead.com this week...I'm so jealous! D: I may just have to enter. I'd love to have one of these guys (although really, I'd love to have any murloc companion. They're so adorable). :D

I just bought this little guy through the Stormwind auction house for 1g, and I have to say, I love him! I wasn't sure if it would be worth it to buy him at first, but the price struck me as a good deal so I went ahead and got him. I love how he flies around behind you when you run, but in a very different pattern than my bird companions do. I hate real cockroaches, but this one's too adorable to pass up! :D I'm looking forward to bringing him out in my next raid.
