I farmed this pet as a level-20 trial account, and it dropped on the 1247th Noxious Whelp. Longer than you'd expect for a 1-in-1000 drop, but I'm not complaining at all since the Sprite Darter dropped about 900 kills earlier!

Lucky me! As a lvl-20 trial, I was farming the Noxious Whelps in Feralas for the Green Whelpling and got the Sprite Darter on the 354th kill. I was pretty happy since this is a much rarer drop that I was not expecting to get.

I was farming the level 28-29 Venture Co. Geologists for Steamwheedle Rep (as a lvl 20 trial account). This pet dropped after about 6200 kills. The Macaw did not drop, so I still have to go back for that..

Got it on my 210th Ebon Whelp... was not expecting it to drop so quickly!
