caught mine just outside Emberstrife's Den (behind Ony's "hill" or just south of it on the map). poor quality, but I'm happy just to have found one!

got this guy as a secondary to a Twilight Beetle at Lightning Ledge, Hyjal.

yeah must still be bugged somehow, maybe the pets not spawning every standstorm. I was here when the sandstorm started a bit ago, no spawns. I even tried moving to a different area & coming back, still nothing :(

found my rare out northeast of Ravencrest Monument on the islands (Azshara). also got a  rare Twilight Spider as a secondary to a poor quality Turquoise Turtle earlier in the same area.

Avalee is correct, I found one flying beside Watcher Biggs (alliance npc) half way between Splinterspear Junction and Stonard.

I got super lucky. 6am servertime & I was the only person in the zone. got a rare on the very last one in the cave.

finally! after about 3hrs finally got a rare on the hill just east of Farstrider Retreat. unless you're super lucky, expect to be here hunting them a while :(

found one wandering just north of Dawnstar Spire (northeast), had an uncommon quality Maggot as a secondary.

Edit: I didn't see any while farming a rare Spirit Crab on the coast.

caught mine in Darrowshire, also found another in the hills near Undercroft. both in E.Plaguelands

Edit: got a poor quality Scorpid and rare quality Bat both as secondaries fighting the Black Rats in the same area.
