Found the lvl 2 before reading your comment. I'd pretty much given up on finding another of these rare beasts - much less a Rare one - explaining why I hadn't read your comment. FWIW: yes, !YES!, it was an actual Rare!

Re: Irradiated Roach
Found myself near the Toxic Airfield and there was a single Irradiated Roach there. Never seen one in past hunting trips. A RARE! Very glad I'd switched down to my brand-new Rare Alpine Hare for the battle - didn't accidentally kill it. Woot!

Accidentally discovered a modest trove of new pets!
Been playing a couple of higher-level toons while focusing on bags. Did a bit of pet leveling, as well. Decided to branch out a bit and activated a Monk. Took a Zen Pilgrimage and discovered it was a Daily. Then I stepped out of the ?hall? and saw a paw on the screen. A level 24 I'd never seen before! With two OTHER pets I'd never seen before. Took the best (Common ... oh, well) then went off and found another group. There are at least half a dozen types available. WoW!
(update): I had been thinking the Monk was the only one that could access the "retreat" area. It is a small part of a larger isle. With nearly a DOZEN pets available! And Monks get first dibs!
