Found them in a rather "plentiful" quantity as rare pets goes in the morning, 10:08 Server time. Always following giraffes only found common and poor so far. Bit south of Desolation Hold and Fort Triumph. Good luck!
Update: North i've found them singularly, whether or not they do spawn like that is another case.
