Huzzah! Good thing I logged out in Jadefang's cave yesterday; when I logged in to check my auction this morning, there she was, all shiny and pretty and green.

When the quest didn't show up for me I opened a ticket - GM told me that I completed the quest some time ago and... err... MISPLACED the quest reward.

GM had a heart for pet collector's though and informed me that Withers is one of the very few quest rewards that can be restored by customer service according to Blizz' policy.

It's pretty easy for hunters to run by the first wave of savages, feign death and reach the forest frogs without even engaging in a fight.

I haven't been so lucky with the Hex Sticks though - already burned about 20 of them on the frogs without getting that elusive little bugger. On the bright side: Since Zul'Aman became a level 85 heroic dungeon, HS sell for abour 2g apiece on the auction house, so trying isn't too expensive.
