Do you only ever get the mission once? So if you get it and sell the pet you will never get the mission again or if you get the mission but are away and never use it will it come up again?

Do you have to have the Trading Post to gain the rep?

This pet is not tied to the dailies for Socrether's Rise.

Where are people leveling pets these days? Are you going back to the Pandaria trainers?

Was thinking the same thing.

Can you craft this in your garisson without have blacksmithing as a profession?

Level 2: "Increases your trap chance and reduces the cooldown of Revive Battle Pets while in Draenor. Up to 10 of your pets can now hang out in your garrison."

What is the point of this?? The pets hanging out at your garisson?

OK after reading all the comments I just bought one off the AH for 10K. I'll never be able to spend the time it takes to run that raid unless I get really lucky and jump in at the end of one and if I get double lucky and get the drop. If that happens then great I'll have two and sell/trade one later.

So can you get him in your garrison herb garden without the profession?

Sorry I misread the text. So you can get him in your herb garden it sounds like even without herbalism. Can anyone confirm they got him without herbalism? Or any guesses on drop rate? Just wondering if it is easier to buy the little fella.

Is there anyway to find out the ratio of the various breeds?  H/H seems like a very rare breed.

Did we make a forum with this? ALso what it the point of leaving pets in your garrison? If you can learn the Elekk Plushie with level 1 tailoring I think I will be rerolling a profession before WOD.

So if I have a P/P breed caged and relearn it will it switch to a B/B breed?

Where can you look up and find how many artifacts you have solved from the various types?  I can see what items I have created in the archaelogy window but it doesn't tell me how many I solved since I have solved some many times over.

p.s. Just started working on the Claw, quit archeaology long ago when I hit max level.

I wonder if H/S is the best breed? It seems to me with he Sandling abilities you could pick the slowest one since in most cases the opposition will be at 50% speed anyway with Quicksand or at best 75% speed if you have Sand Bolt up? Seems to me H/P might be better or even P/B if you sacrifice some health?

Got mine last night, lots of spawns and lots of players. Blizz went from one extreme to another. :-(  So many spawns people kill them to get rares.  I saw 8 spawn pts leading up to AQ40. I even saw three or four spawn points outside the gate below the ledge where your location changes to "Silithus". One spawn on the edge of the camp. In all I saw 20 different spawn points. Killing the critters and other spawns in the zone helped the respawns. Saw three rares in 15 min.

Looked around a lot on two different servers, sometimes keep an alt parked at a spawn point then log in to check but have never even seen one.  I am amazed at all the folks who have gotten theirs because it seems they don't exist for me.  Grats to you all.  Am hoping now that I posted my comment I'll find one tonight!  - Still checking each day but still never even seen a live Val'kyr. I have the stone just need the pet!

Like everyone said mark the Elder Diemetradons with babies and kill all the others.  I had no mothers at first then one showed up. On second pass I had two then three.  On about the 12th pass I suddenly had about 9 mothers spawn. Took about an hour and a quarter to get my rare (P/B) although I may go back to see if I can get a P/P breed.  Also got a rare spotted bell frog as a second.

It took me only about 7 Elites to get this pet.  As the previous poster said make sure you check up on top.  There are two pools at the one end where they can also spawn.  I was killing the little guys wondering why no elites were spawning then I noticed there were two elites in the pools at the top. Not a hard grind at all. Took maybe half an hour. (Breed 6)

I noticed the same last night.  I was looking for the Unborn Valkyr and there were Fox Kits all over with no snow falling in the areas I was at.  I did land too to check if it was snowing.

Couldn't finish this boss as a [90] shadow priest. Need to work on my mechanics maybe. Made a macro to target Naga, Strider and Tainted's which helps.  Consistently getting through Phase 2 but get blown up in Phase 3.
