Just got mine on Frostmane. Don't know if it happened to be a conincidence, but I noticed that the area that they spawn in has an area with no craters just a little north and there were some tainted moths and tainted rats. So since there was know one flying around I thought I'd just kill those two and fly back over to the craters and see if one had spawned (much like with the Scorpling in Blasted Lands) and there was a Minfernal the minute I flew back. Probably just a coindidence but whatever.
