Found a sandstorm at 1:15am server time and saw several hatchlings pop up. The first I encountered was a rare, and when my battle was finished, all the other pets had vanished. Odd, because there was no one in the area at the time that I could see. No other re-populated. I'm glad my search is over with this pet! I've had a toon camped there for weeks for several hours pretty much each day.
