Baby moose!

It's funny to me, because all of my bug reports have the word moose in them somewhere, all the way back to 2005... and no, I have no idea why I do it. lol

For those concerned about the Whack-A-Gnoll game achievement, here are some tips: Move your camera directly above your character, and zoom out as far as you can. This gives a better view of the barrels. Also, pick a character with a running-speed boost (DK or Hunter are nice). If a Hogger pops, prioritize it over regular gnolls. I have finished with plenty of time to spare with these two tips. I have high hopes at getting 45 pretty quick after it launches.

I hate camping, so when this type of rare presents itself, I tend to resort to pathing. Starting in west Crystalsong, I fly east to the 3rd spawn point and jaunt up to Storm peaks, to Zul Drak, and follow spawns S West. Next, over to Grizzly Hills, and down to Howling Fjord, through Dragonblight, to Borean Tundra, up to Scholazar, and ending in Icecrown. Dis this nearly daily for months, until mine showed up near Death's Stand in Borean Tundra. Just happened to be rare. Good Luck, all!

This one completely blindsided me. A few months ago, I saw one on the Black Market AH for 1k, and no one had bid on it. Got outbid in less than an hour. Then, the other day, I was doing the Ft Livingston quests on a lowbie, and got one off of an ogre that ambushed me. To think, if I had gotten off the path, he would have walked right by me.

After the evening server restarts on 3/11, I logged on immediately once my servers were back up, and finally saw one without being on a FP. I darted at it, and only noticed at the last second that two other players landed at the same time. I pressed my Scourged Whelpling macro, which targeted it, but I was too late. Rinse. Repeat. I logged in the next night, a few hours after reset time, and spotted two of them up. An uncommon and a poor. Left the poor for someone else to find.

When I got to the Dry Hills on my 33, there were lots of 90s flying around the area. I got lucky and found one just south of the Dry Hills area (poor, but still). It was sitting amongst an Adder and a Prairie Dog, so I almost missed it. Make sure to include that area, near the prowlers, and you could get lucky, too.

As others have stated, they spawn with no backup over by the small side tower of Karazhan, and over by Lydia Accoste. When I went there to fight her, there were several around the other side of the tower. Got rare on my second capture. :)

While running a figure 8 through Sable Ridge many, many, many times, I have an Uncommon Twilight Beetle and rare of everything else in the area. There just aren't enough of these there.
