Status Update (1)

I took a break from WoW 6 months or so before BfA hit and then sort of got back into it a few weeks after. I'm completely casual now, I don't even raid or hit mythics with my guildies anymore. A great thing to do is get back into pet collecting because at least I don't have to commit to that and can just play whenever I want to play. I've come to see that with BfA comes ALOT more collecting! I'm mad at myself because I missed the deadline for using my charms and I have over 1100 collected. The intention was to use them up before BfA but I completely forgot so my goal next week is to level as many pets as I can without burning out.

As others have mentioned, this is the only P/P build Snake with Burrow until Death Adder Hatchling was added. Suffice it to say, destroying critter wild teams with this snake is not difficult.

As others have stated, this is the only P/P breed moth as of 5.4 [Jan. 2014]. It's a monster vs. Aquatics. I had to buy 4 before I was lucky enough to score the P/P breed, Good luck! (Grab it, you won't regret it). I only wish I'd known about the whole different breed thing before I did because this thing would have saved some headache along the way.

Before I knew about breeds I was using this guy to tear up Aquatics. Little did I know at the time it was one of the stronger birds. I have the P/B build and at the time it did me justice. Between Quills and Predatory Strike, not many aquatics survived his onslaught - and it's pretty too!

Insane vs. Dragonkin.

I've collected all 3 of the breeds I wanted for Bonkers and all 3 work very well for me.

The P/P breed is devastating if you're vs. slower Dragonkin which is rare. All you need to do is get 3 hits in and chances are the enemy is down.

I use the P/S breed to solo Yu'la, there's some RNG luck required, but more than not I'm able to do it.

S/S breed is just super annoying because it's faster than most Dragonkin and still manages to land big hits.

This is what I refer to as a double threat pet (DTP). Magic is resistant to Aquatic abilities and the pet has a host of Flying abilities which are strong against Aquatics. The P/S breed is imho, the best since this is faster than many Aquatics (since it's not a flyer, you no longer have the upper hand on speed by default). With the P/S breed, you can use Hawkeye or AR and then proceed to blow your enemy away, pun intended.

Because of the nature of Explode, I was torn as to whether to collect and keep the H/P or trade for a P/P. The H/H and H/P breeds are between 1627 and 18xx so 40% of that is nuts. I have other P/P mechanicals with imho better abilities, however, Armageddon is pretty intense in and of itself and is based on Power so I decided to go with a P/P build. The tradeoff for a strong Explode just wasn't good enough. I don't pet PvP so I shouldn't even care (but I'm a dpser so I like big dps!).

It took me roughly 2hrs and about 15m. I generally set my limit at 15 to 30m but I figured this one might be tough if I didn't get lucky and really didn't want to tempt myself into wasting stones.

I set my 2nd screen up to watch ST:TNG and went at it. Many slow laps later and ~20 newly leveled from 1-5 pets (and 2 character levels, from 2 to 4), I caught this little scamp.

Good Luck. Think of it like leveling fishing and you'll be fine, you may even just get lucky!

These little guys, similarly to the Pandaren Air Spirit have the odds stacked against it, somewhat.

It's an elemental (so it's weak to water based abilities) with flying abilities (which are strong only against water pets). :/

Your best bet for actually using it is either against water pets few to no water abilities or unrelated pets which have abilities weak against elementals (like mechanical abilities, for example).

I like to refer to this as a Dragonkiller, it's a DTP (double threat pet) like most elementals are vs. mechanicals.

It's Undead and takes 33% less damage from dragonkin abilities and the humanoid ability Call Darkness does a lot of damage to dragonkin.

Plagued Blood paired with Tail Sweep provide more than ample self healing allowing this little brute to trample most dragonkin out there, both wild and trained.

This is a GREAT pet to have for any pet battler/collector.

Really happy I checked these reviews out.

Today I decided to work on Pandaria Safari. I try to do rares only, though there are exeptions. Battled for about an hour today before coming here - all greys, commons and uncommons, not a single rare.

I have hunted for them before too and it was the same so I am inclined to believe that as of now, rares of these may not actually exist, that or they are super, double duper rare.
