I managed an Emerald Proto-Whelp and an uncommon Nexus Whelp tonight, not bad! As well as a rare Oily Slimeling.

I don't know if phasing affects these or not, but I got mine during the quest to gain access to the Monastery. Might help if you're having trouble finding one!

I'm sitting in my second sandstorm now, with zero spawns. Last time I waited for an hour and saw none. I was the only person here most of the time. Do they respawn continually during the storm, or only at the beginning?

Edit: 4th storm now, still no spawns.
