I think the color changing aspect of this was removed with 5.2. I just caught a rare secondary to a green goat. I wanted to see it change color and everytime I summoned it came out exactly the same color scheme.

I hunted for a rare of this little gal, finally found one. I remembered many comments talking about her tendency to commit suicide, so I changed the weather immediately after scorched earth was used. After doing that, it seemed fairly easy to capture with much less chance of having to do the log off trick, which is brilliant btw. I used my Celestial Dragon's weather which allowed for better healing, helped me lower hp for capture (it made my rare captureable) and a few turns to catch. good luck

I just got this but I can't even see the "Got It" option :(

As of this post, this pets munching down on critters also counts toward your guild's Critter Kill Squad (and by extension, I assume the one after it) achievement, if you don't already have it/them.

This pet makes me sad, I finally got people to help me obtain it. I transferred servers and it was gone, I talked to a GM and they said they could find no record of me getting it and then shortly there after the "Vampire Hunter" achievement came out and I knew I'd never get this guy again :(
