Just caught him today (12/7/12) 10:49 AM server on Thunderhorn. I was killing other battle pets in the area as well as infernals. He ended up spawning right next to the pillars off to the side as others had reported. (See screen shot)
He was poor quality but I had a Flawless Battle-Stone to upgrade him to rare. :)
At level 14 (and being rare quality), he now has 828 Health/162 Power/162 Speed.
