I had a hard time with the last waves until I came upon a suggestion on WowHead to use 2 rows of sunflowers (at the back/left) and 3 rows of tentacles in front(right) of them. Worked like a charm; didn't need any other plants (maybe a rocknut here and there).
Also, the flower is super cute, but is it just me or does the little tune he sometimes sings sound really creepy?
