Found my rare and a Rare Strand Crawler as adds on Dragonbone Hatchlings just SW of Wyrmrest Temple.

Here is a list of quests to unlock The Shatterspear Invaders, assuming you haven't done any in Darkshore up to this point. It's pretty much all the quests you would normally encounter, but I did leave out the optional quests.:

Yeah they don't respawn till the next sand storm so if you don't find one it is because some one else took them all.  I found my uncommon (57,73) in the Gaping Chasm.

Found the 3 nests on the 3 mounds but got the hatchling in the nest(48,14) back under the trees north of them.

Got 2 to appear back to back when I cleared the entire area of all other pets.  They both appeared at 52,83.  Just outside the cave entrance to Emberstrife's Den.
