I got the stone armadillo last night and it turned out to be my first RARE.  He was in one of the dry riverbeds.  I was very excited.  I was working around the Cenarian place to level up before challenging the trainer. 

I just got him and it doesn't say the quality.  In fact it doesn't say any quality for any of my companion pets   However the stats correspond to uncommon with the calculator. I don't understand why all the ones you get with quests are not "rare" quality.  It is harder to get them and this one cannot be traded. 

 

I am ending up releasing most of the ones I get in battles.  Only to lvl 7 in battles but I have to say it is not very satisfying.  I liked getting pets the old way better. 

Can you get the Lost in the Deep Pebble Quest while you have open the Ricket one with the bombs? I was keeping it open in case I stumbled on Jadefang for my husband and guildies but now I am wondering if I just shot myself in the foot. The quest isn't turning up. Although with my luck it came up last week while I was away. I have 8/10 and would like to get Pebble before MoP

Abandoned the bomb quest and it did not help. RNG gods were favorable. Got Pebble on the eve of MoP 9/24/12

Took me 21 runs. 20/21 normal. Heroic wasn't much harder than normal at 85.
This got me to 150 before the update!!! Got my celestial dragon!!

This pet is actually easier to get than Pebble . Once you have Underground Economy (and get the bomb) its just a matter of when Jadefang spawns. Underground economy is offered when Pebble is not. Once you have the bomb line your self up with your back to the cave and put the bomb in front of you. Spawns usually every 3-4 hours. You also can find a chest in the cave with Green armor. You must have NPC scan add-on and delete the Cache folder if you saw him before but didn't get him.

Where is the best place to get this guy in the sewers? My husband got his by the arena in the back. I have tried there and at the dock but no luck. I even got my fishing to 770 with hat, Kaluak pole, potion to transform me into a walrus and a lure.

Check out the new Archeology Info on Wowhead.  Once you reach 600 in Pandaria you can buy crates of fragments from Pre MoP places and with Crated artificacts. One poster said you get 5-9 per crate.

it doesn't include keystones.  You can save up the lower items as you level and use them at the end to get Tol'vir fragments

You definitely need to do Archy in Eastern Kingdoms for this one since there are so many more Dwarf sites. Kalimdor favors Night Elf sites The main issue is that You will make a ton of common items more than once before any rare items are offered. It is random which rare ones come up. Therefore you will do a lot of artifacts before you get any pets. I recommend you watch TV while you go for these Archy pets or it will drive you nuts. The Tol'vir ones are the hardest.

You need at least 10 dark iron ale. Morja is near the First Aid quest giver at DM Faire. Put a mug of ale at her feet and she will give you a quest. You find Jubjub to the left of her wandering around the circlular enclosure behind the tonk area, You need to drop a mug and lure him with the mugs. The distance between Morja and the fence to her left will still work. Drop the mug and when he comes to it, drop another quickly since he runs away. Keep repeating until he reaches Morja,
