I just got the sea pony...I didn't count casts but it took about 1/2 hour of continuous fishing. Honestly I was expecting it to take much longer.

Whoever designed this pet should get the Blizzard employee of the year award. This pet is adorable, it flies on its own tiny broom when you're on a flying mount and its not that hard to get. I spent some time flying around to all the candy buckets and collecting Tricky Treats (this pet costs 150 of them) and in a couple of hours had my kitty. And when you click on her she doesn't make the same sounds as the rest of the cats, she hisses and yowls like you stepped on her tail.

I posted info on where I'm stuck on Quintessense's blog, go check that out and hopefully some light will be shed on where to go from here. I'm still working on it, if I get further I'll post results =)
UPDATE
If Gwynna is right then I'm not "stuck" I've just reached the point I need to reach. I really hope so! I'm going to try running ZG and see what happens, if I'm lucky I'll soon have a new pet! I'll post results
