Compared to other rabbits, these are about half to a third the size. They are a tiny little speck on the screen, and at least to me, that makes them just utterly *adorable*.For fans of cute, I highly suggest these.
These pets spawn only on a Sunday, between 9 and 11PM server time. They spawn right at the beginning of the festival (just after 9 PM), and I have been hanging around for a half hour now, and haven't seen another spawn yet. It's possible these are like the Shadeling, and only spawn in a single 'cluster' at once.
The festival is held on Turtle Beach, which is due east of The Incursion. You'll know you're there when you find the statue of Liu Lang.
EDITED: Because apparently I can't tell 'west' from 'east'
At the moment, this pet is bugged, and doesn't show toward the achievement. However, it is also not yet needed for the achievement: I have the Northrend achievement as we speak.
These can show up as secondaries to almost anything in the zone. On my hunt for the elusive rare, I have located spawns with the primaries of Maggot, Fjord Rat, Rat, Rabbit, and Fjord Worg Pup. And that's only so far. I expect they can join as part of almost anything.
Since Larva share spawns with several other critters (spiders and rats in particular), you may have to kill or battle critters in order to make Larva spawn for you. Even worse, you may have to do it until a *capturable* one spawns: they are not universally catchable.
Larva will also show up in Ghostlands as a 'secondary battler' in combats. If you are unable to find one as part of a primary battle, then farm level 5 creatures in the area and a larva may show up as backup.
Unlike many of the 'special zone pets', King Snakes can and will show up as secondary critters in pet battles in the zone. Therefore, if you are having trouble finding a King Snake, you may want to fight some of the others and see if one will join them.
Unlike many of the 'special zone pets', the Blighthawk can and will appear as a secondary battler to other combatants in the zone. I actually caught my rare Blighthawk in a fight with a black rat in and around the Anderhol area. So if you can't find an 'actual' Blighthawk to try, farm the black rats.
I was unable to train this pet because of the same 'requires' bug. However, ticketing a GM and explaining the situation let me get the companion 'trained' to me. Therefore, if you're being bitten by this bug, opening a ticket is probably your best chance until Blizzard fixes this bug.
There has been a bug with both the worgen and Pandaren pets, with new characters being unable to train the pet because they were unable to obtain 'Pet Training'. Not sure if Goblins have the same problem, but I would assume so. However, ticketing a GM and explaining the situation let me get the Pandaren's companion 'trained' to me. Therefore, if you're being bitten by this bug, opening a ticket is probably your best chance until Blizzard fixes this bug.
I was unable to train the Panda version of this because of the same 'requires' bug. However, ticketing a GM and explaining the situation let me get the companion 'trained' to me. Sunstrider Isle is probably the easiest place to find a cat that can be captured. There are multiple spawns there, and they respawn very quickly if you have to clear them out. However, they also very frequently show up as secondary fights in Arathi and Netherstorm (of all places), so if you're not picky about hunting for 'just the right model', you can grab one at those locations.
EDIT: This has been fixed in 4.3! This comment can be reported/removed since it's not true. ;)

Be warned: the 'Frost Shock' ability, while the tooltip describes it as 'chilling' the enemy, does *NOT* apply the 'Chilled' status.
