Does anyone know if you can get him a second time through Archaeology? I've already got him but would love a second one... third... Thanks!
I have captured and released several of these, and it still will not count in my meta achievement no matter how many times I log and relog. I have deleted the wtf file, etc. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks. :)
If anyone is wondering if the Winterspring capture will count toward "Eastern Kingdoms Safari" Achievement (since WS is in Kalimdor) I can confirm it *will* count. :)
Like Skittlekitty, I found several of these while battling Alpine Hares and Alpine Chipmunks in Winterspring. They show up as adds and it's nice to have one at Level 17 instead of Level 5. :)
I can't complete the "Eastern Kingdoms Safari" Achievement either... I own both Golden and Red Dragonhawk Hatchlings but both are greyed out in the list and I can't seem to get them to acknowledge that I have them...
Does anyone know if phasing will happen if you have completed / not completed quests here in the area? I have camped here for many days during many rains and not seen a single spawn. I wonder if they are phased. I have no regular apes or jaguars either, if that helps...? No life on this island for me at all.
[UPDATE] Taiine is *absolutely correct* there is no phasing on this island. I figured out what was happening - there were other pet farmers killing anything they saw and the respawn rate is long... I just went back in at 6:30 Server Time and there was a baby ape right in front of me! And it was RARE! and despite having only Level 19 - 22 pets in my slots, I used the Sporeling mushroom attack and then just swapped pets for the rest while it ticked and I GOT HIM! A Rare Baby Ape! *happy dance all over Jaguero Isle* Good luck, everyone, keep trying, it's worth it! :)
I found two last night at around 8 PM Server time; the first was white and the second blue! Annnnd... then I critted and killed it. And cried a little. I haven't found any since. Good luck with this one, everyone! :)
