Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't believe the Darkmoon Isle is a CRZ zone, meaning that getting an invite from a RealID friend won't transfer you to their server. I believe they changed this many patches ago to prevent people from other servers from farming the Darkmoon Rabbit by server jumping.

The Pandaren Fishing Charm has nothing to do with these carp appearing as secondary to other fish, it happens regardless. I caught my carp as a secondary with no charm. So the two are unrelated. Saying this because there have been misleading comments about this supposed connection.

Caught in river in Vot4W right next to Galleon's spawn point. No fishing charm, 376 fishing skill (no lure, no hat, no pole). Appeared in lootbox along with Golden Carp. Open water. Caught in under 20 casts on this particular alt in this location.

For a while I was convinced these didn't come in rare quality, because after 400+ battles in Jade Forest I hadn't seen one after getting every other Jade Forest pet in rare. But they do. I was doing battles around the Arboretum leveling a pet, when one showed up as a secondary to a Wild Crimson Hatchling.

To the people who are confused about the quality of this pet: the item that teaches you the pet that is mailed by Sho in a chirping package is always rare quality. But when you learn it, it can show up in your journal in any quality, depending on RNG. So far I've gotten two alts exalted with Sho and the crickets are poor and common.

Has anyone received more than one from bags? I got one early on, been trying to get one for a friend by doing dailies and so far haven't seen it again.

Got home and logged into my alt parked at Karazhan. Cross realm zone time was 8:37 am. These guys were all over the place, probably close to 40 spawns, most of them in the cave-like part. I had to rush because I didn't want them to despawn at 9 am, managed to get a rare after about 30 battles. This is on a high pop server, so I doubt noone was there to grab the initial spawn at midnight, which tells me they spawn more than once a night.

Got a rare one (lvl 13) while looking for rare twilight iguanas in Thousand Needles. It joined the fight with a poor quality iguana.

Bees is absolutely right. Also, don't forget to play TB as each time you win you get 3 tokens and some rep. Today I tried to get in to a game, except the battleground was full, and the game was almost over. Much to my delight before I got ported the game ended and I received full credit standing outside (120 honor, around 275 rep and 3 tokens). There is no rank requirement like there used to be in Wintergrasp to receive credit.
