Daisy will not ride on cat, bear, travel or boomchicken form.  She will, however, ride on your shoulders when you are in tree form...which is appropriate :D

Took me a couple tries, Finally got him on my second alt run through the place.  Then got a second on my third alt I ran through there.  I gave the extra to Verissi which made her happy =D.

 

I discovered that left to his own devices for too long, he'll lay down and take a nap, at least I'm figuring that's what he's doing.  No snoring animation, but he looks asleep.  wonder what other animations will come up.

He is very cute and very noisy!

 

 

The quest chain itself is just timeconsuming.  it's easy to pull more mobs than you can handle when collecting the stone and meat for it.  Well worth it though, looking forward to battling with him.

As of 2/16/13 it looks like they've fixed the color change for the Dragon Kite.  I've been bouncing from place to place and every time it pops up with me it's changed colors!  Hurrah!

 

I've been wanting this little pretty for some time and finally got lucky with a random booster pack.  YAY!

I ended up leaving one of my alts parked in the area and hopping over to her periodically throughout when i'm playing.  I had yet to even see one of the little guys.  Frustrated to the point of almost giving up on it.  But tonight i decided as i was logging to go to bed, ehh what the heck, might as well check.  And there one was right in front of me.  Battled it, caught it, it's poor quality, but at least I have it.  Petstone upgrades are coming....

First battle in Deepholm and I find a rare rat that was the third pet with two crystal beetles.  Had a choice of pet 1 poor quality Crystal beetle, pet 2 Uncommon quality crystal beetle or the final pet, a rare qualit Stowaway rat...trapped the rat!

Snowy Owls are now spawning after midnight on November 1, so according to the Blizz calender it is winter.  Caught my first, it's an uncommon but very sweet.  I figure I will go back after the furvor to find a rare later.  This on Argent Dawn US

My first attempt at catching one and it was a rare...sadly I was down to my last pet and lost the fight...to a moth.  Took me a dozen attempts in the Briny Muck before I finally found another.

Had this show up as a second when I started battling a Rapana Whelk over in the Briney Muck.  The Whelk was poor quality, but the scorpion was a rare.  YAY!  Saved me from having to go hunt to hunt down the local Crunchy Scorpion population in the Dread Wastes!

Caught my rare ljust about 6:30pm server time.  The first time I was hunting through the poos last night I couldn't find a single Slimeling in any of the pools.  I was popping back through the area several times after 11pm server.  I'm wondering if they tend to spawn more during daylight hours rather than night time hours.

This little guy showed up as a second to a turkey in Howling Fjord...the turkey was poor quality, but he was uncommon so I trapped him instead!

After roaming around Searing Gorge battling an assortment of beetles and spiders, this little guy finally spawned in the Cauldron over by Scald is.  It was after midnight server so I don't know if that influences when it spawns.  It was only a common, but once I have collected more i can worry about upgrading it's rarity.

Hit Andorhal and after catching a rare black rat I spotted a pack of 3 of these little guys.  Chose one and settled in to fight only to discover it was a rare!  Hurrah!  I don't know if Blizz fixed the phasing issue here, but I have not done any of the new Andorhal quests on Yenna since prior to Cata, so the phase I was in is the initial one you get when you go there.

Trying to get them to spawn is a pain in the tuchas.  I did finally get 2 to come up, one down by the pool in the cave, the other in the alcove up top.  It was after 7 in the evening tonight.  Sadly they were both poor quality.  I still captured one, better than having none, and will hope to find one of better quality some other night.

 

Update: It would seem that if you kill off the Huge ooze by the name of The Direglob after cleaning the cave, the little ones spawn!

It's fun how they not only will swap between walking and flying, depending on what you're doing. but the little flappers will keep up with you on an epic mount. I was pretty darn impressed! Even the vocalizations they make are unique to the windrider.

Now I just need a Windrider mount to accessorize with him!

The plushies were about the size I expected, having bought game related plushies for the army of nieces and nephews! All in all, a fun collectible at a good price!
