Named mine "Bane of Nishi" as he can easily solo all 3 pets of that master in VoFW.  I use this battle everyday to level a pet by throwing up mists then swapping in low pet right after sunflower casts sunlight.

It seems I'm not the only one to get it this way but I caught it on one of my first catches while getting the 5 Golden Carp for the quest right next to Ben of the Booming Voice (http://www.wowhead.com/npc=70398/ben-of-the-booming-voice ).  Subsequent fishies have not been so easy. :)

Quite suprised when one showed up on my AH for 10k...i snagged it!  It seems to do well in battles but i need more time with it.  Its quite a dratic looking thing!

 

Update: The thing seems to miss alot in battles :(  But wow the lightning strikes!  This is fun to run around with!

Battled a few before getting my rare...yes, first day :) Pretty much standard for snake in battle but looks very cool.  Can't really see well when by my side...kinda small.  Though that may be just my screen size.:)

entered battle with mountain cottontail...had rare RR as second yay!...it suddenly changed to gray...ugh what gives!!

Just found my rare on the Townlong Steppes side of The Widening Deep...directly south of Rensai's Outpost.  So glad to be done with this search.

spent a couple hours looking for a rare last night ( Thrall)...found many as seconds to the snakes around the water but all were poor or common.  Found rare as primary but killed it on accident...and cussed :0...finally found the second rare this morning as a primary again...got him this time!! :)

I'm going back through my list to get rares of all pets...this one seems to be exceptionally rare. :(

I sure wish this would show up in the AH sometime.  I've seen other CW pets in there but not Legs. :(

All raid pets will still drop even when you have one already...at least this one did. :)

I can also confirm that rares are now available.  Just now, got a LVL24 (bumped to 22 or course) Rare along with a Savory Beetle and Shore Crab.  I was in Krasarang Cove when I got this.  Yay, one more!

Found one just over from VS. Was poor but used a perfect aquatic stone from PB master in JF and boom! Insta-rare! :)

That cave in EP is def the best. :)

So now with patch 5.0whatever I have this pet available to me from a diff toon, opposing faction, diff server. I'm having to rethink my WHOLE strategy on pet collecting. :/

Fyi, armory update is no longer a viable way to update one's collection here :(

Getting a little frustrated with this one. Been working on it some each day for over a week now. Sure would be nice if they were closer together and spawned like whelps in wetlands but at least I don't have to "deal with" having to skin these. :/

So yeah, about 20+ total mobs and oddly they don't seem to respawn at a regular rate. So if you rerun the path too quickly you will miss some.
