Found the lvl 2 before reading your comment. I'd pretty much given up on finding another of these rare beasts - much less a Rare one - explaining why I hadn't read your comment. FWIW: yes, !YES!, it was an actual Rare!

Re: Irradiated Roach
Found myself near the Toxic Airfield and there was a single Irradiated Roach there. Never seen one in past hunting trips. A RARE! Very glad I'd switched down to my brand-new Rare Alpine Hare for the battle - didn't accidentally kill it. Woot!

Found a Rare pet (that I have yet to capture) in the AH. OK, THAT'S not new. This one I could AFFORD! Well ... IF I combined the pocket change from two other toons.
Bought it. Looks like it could be powerful! Now, looking at my page, here, I have to wonder. One more Rare, my Pet Score went up by 5, my Realm Rank went up (down? BETTER!) by 1, and my Average Pet Level DROPPED by 0.1?
Guess I'll just have to level up a bunch of pets to counter that loss, eh?
Have managed to reduce my Poor total to 0 and my Common total to 3 - Rares are GOOD.
