Ahh RNG, how I loathe thee. No Lumpy for me this year. And there's no guarantee that this will be the pet for next year either. Blizz, sometimes you really suck.

Same here. Can't pick up quest this year, no pup for me.
UPDATE: Blizzard has no intention of fixing it. AKA - working as intended. No second pet for us on this one, at least, not at this time.

They are not going to fix the bug "at this time". So there's no telling when we'll get our second pet!
