I finally captured a rare H/B specimen after several days of intermittent camping. It was pretty frustrating at times but I stuck to it and it finally paid off.

Kind of a strange creature, strong vs aquatic and defense against critters.

If you glance at the battle info, this guy looks like an amazing critter killer. Strong attacks and strong defense. I haven't tried him yet but I suspect he will be my go-to squad exterminator when fighting wild pets.

I finally captured a rare after several hours of frustrating hunting. The one I caught was actually outside the cave system. I can confirm that they do spawn all through the caves and in the small grassy area too.

It took a couple hours of farming but I captured a Breed 3 rare on the north side of the island. I wasn't too pleased with this so I decided to keep at a bit longer and I got the all-attack Breed 4 rare after another half-hour or so. Nice!
