I got this after one loot... Im still amazed.  MAybe Blizzard has taken pity on me after it took me four weeks to get the phoenix hatchling at the Magisters Terrace (and yes, the phoenix hatchling was meant to be a one-in-ten drop) whereas the deviate one is still (i think) a one in 100 drop?  : /

Anyone farming for this, dont give up.. you could get lucky.

absolutely tons around at 6.30 (Sha'tar server, EU) server time, today (sunday).  Got a rare accompanied by a rare gold beetle half way down the path. I guess it depends on whoever is farming these little guys as there was certainly lots hovering about.

so annoying that they've stopped the instant respawn for the wild horses.. as if this damned cat wasnt hard enough to get!  Oh, well, 4700 loots and no cat so back to the beach and killing murlocs for me  :(

can confirm that they do spawn inside the crater.. saw one floating about today at 19.36 hours (20.36 hours CET).. while i was taking a break from farming the black tabby cat.  it was a 'common' one though
