It was easier to get my rare Diemetrodon than it has been to find a rare one of these little goobers. I've fought every battle pet in Un'goro that I could find. Seems the more I fought the fewer Bell Frogs re-spawned. They still were coming rarely as secondaries. Found 3 wild pets that I could not battle. One Tree Python was obstructed no matter where I stood. Another was spawned inside and island. Then a Bell Frog that spawned underground. I'm sure that one is a rare. lol
After 2+ hours farming for a rare I finally got one as secondary to a gray leopard scorpid with a green sidewinder in the last slot. Checked everywhere that was mentioned in comments below. Finally found it just west of Gate of Unending Cycles. 60.67, 20.51 During this time I had every possible Uldum pet come as a rare, most of them numerous times. Even a twofer with a sidewinder in front and a mac frog last. Honestly was beginning to think rare leopard scorpids were a myth.
I've been farming these as often as I go to Feralas, which is pretty frequent as I'm also farming for an Emerald Whelpling. My luck at finding a rare has been about as good as finding Emerald Whelpling. Still back at it. / sad face.

After having gone to Everlook numerous times and only seeing this on the FP as I landed. Today I went out to WS just to farm some ore for a friend's alt. Lo and behold there sits a Robo Cub. To make a Christmas even merrier it was a rare to boot. It now resides in my pet journal, merry Christmas to me.
Logged onto my lvl 1 Gnome ran outside and immediately saw a snowcub and the FF. Battled it as it was an uncommon. Felt pretty darn lucky. Ran around a little more, not knowing Gnomers area at all soon had my lvl 1 butt killed. Rezzed and ran down to the air field and with a little more searching came across number 2 FF. This one a rare which my crimson lasher almost killed on the second round. Fortunately I captured it. Best of luck to all you pet hunters.

Tamer dailies are the start of my WoW day everyday. Then leveling and farming to upgrade lower quality pets to rares. I do spend a good bit of time advising newer pet battlers on where and how to find rarer pets or battle groups for dailies. My hope is to find enough interested pet battlers on Thrall server to turn my guild in a battle pets guild.
