Status Update (1)

Just bought a lvl 25 Living Sandling for 1,250g and an Azure Whelpling for 1,750g. A productive day. Now to get to Revered with my guild to get the Thundering Serpent Hatchling.

4 of these dropped for me today, as well as a Primal Egg, and I got my Spectral Porcupette. Unfortunately, none of them were the breed I wanted, but I got the second best one. I named her Sarah, after Land Before Time :)

I was flying around Kun-lai Summit and spotted one on my minimap. Before I could fight it, I was attacked and my pet's Thunderstomp killed it. But a few seconds later I found another one. And it was a rare! I caught it and soon found several in the area. I caught a second rare and a rare Tolai Hare of of a poor quality runt. I've been occasionally flying around the Summit with 0 sightings, then a whole bunch spawned at once. I don't know if this is a pattern. It was at 9pm server time on Arthas.

I found this as a primary just east of Grookin Hill. It was accompanied by a rare Emerald Turle and an uncommon Spirebound crab. Tough choice, but I already had the turtle and not this one. So now I have a rare Bucktooth Flapper =]

Re: Chuck

I love this pet. His Rip ability combined with Blood in the Water is unstoppable.

Just caught mine a few minutes ago (2:15 server + est). It was the only one I've seen so far and I've been camping for about a week now. Found it in the southern little "town" around Dalaran Crater. It was an uncommon, too.

As far as I can tell, there were no other tamable critters in the area. So I cannot prove nor disprove the "kill the rats" theory.
