Oozes in Hinterlands and plaguelands drop the bags most in my exp. Never had any luck with them.

Spotted a DO on the BMAH tonight though, snagged it for 1.8k first time winning a BMAH sale it its something I've been trying for off and on for years! If your RNG is real bad on things like this, I suggest checking BMAH.

Despite the name, this pet spawns outside of the ruins as well, so that those uncomfortable with navigating the broken buildings (or fighting a lot of rats) have places to search: Brill GY area, entrance to the UC sewers (near the scarlet tower), and SM GY. I hunted for quite a long time for my rare, but glad I did, its a fave!

Absorb + Siphon Life + Curse of Doom. Lots of healing, lots of damage, I've even taken out some Critters with this undead lovely.

As if being a black cat with a witch hat wasn't enough, it kicks butt!

I go with an Onyx Bite + Stone Skin + Devour ability set, and it makes FF one of the few Beasts that can take down a Flying pet with little issue. Stone Skin negates most dots, stampede type abilities, and at the very least helps soak up some of the harder hits this pet may take. Devour = kill to heal, so always awesome.

Leveled mine up pretty quick on DMF Isle while hunting.

Mom flew around for a couple hours after getting hers, and found a poor for me, back when abandoning was not a safe thing to do. This is the first pet I stoned, and haven't regretted it yet, farming this sucker is quite the task.

Note: even though Barrens Giraffe, the mob these pets spawn with, are in Northern Barrens too, they do not spawn with them. Southern only =(

Secondary pet possibility in Hillsbrad. Has very few Primary spawn points.

But one of them is right near where the Greech spawns during Xmas. Thats where I got mine, lol, while waiting for group to pull.

Because of the relative 'ease' in getting these little guys of later patches (after everyone else seems to have farmed theirs or forgotten) they are usually decent price on AH. Got mine for about 350g on an alt server.

IMO best 'frog' in the game, the Bubble is awesome. Found regularly throughout Isle of Thunder, personally I hunt mine near the Horde base, because there is a lotta grass and such uninhabited near it that pets seem to spawn on.

Got my rare, named him 'Bubble Bubble'. He's a solid multi-use Aquatic pet. =)

Fish of the Day was Sri-La Village (Reef Octopus), estimated casts 165, crates 6, fish from outside schools 4, Octopi caught 156, Mimic Octopus caught as well (about 25th cast).

Unless you have insane luck with RNG, it looks like this could take around 1000 casts total over time to get... if not more.

Night before Patch day... and I came in to double-check what I needed to do first once the patch had finished downloading. Saw this pet and immediately went "That, that right there". IRL or in WoW I would totally want this pet all the time. Need it, want it, will put it in a team just to get it to level 25... Gorgeous! Massive props to Blizz for this lovely model!

Now have a rare of both skins! (Gotta put one or both in a team, I think, lol.)

Alliance toon: Went down to Mudsprocket, got the quest for a free flight to 1k Needles (via Feralas) killed my 7 horde npcs and the pet dropped. I was freaking out! Of course, I will not be keeping it, Mom is fond of the pet as well, and will be gifting it to her. Awesome pet all around, and love the description, lol.

Goes to show though, so often for me these things drop/spawn when I am NOT farming for them!

Have since been back.

There are more spawns of these than most of the specific time/weather pets. They spawn two dozen consistantly from midnight to about 10am (from what I have seen) once it hits 11, however, they start to despawn.

As with the Arcane Eye, these pets are lvl 16-18 but have no backup pets, and thus are useful for level lower level pets while trying to capture your rare.

Please still be aware if you see someone else hunting for one, to not clean the area out.

There were some on tops of towers (back entrance) and around buildings near the front entrance. Though they are level 17 (no 5-7 like zone tooltip states) they do not have back up pets for the battle, and thus can be defeated with lower pets if that's all you have.

As always with the harder to find spawns, please capture one and get a flawless stone to make it rare later!

Went through a few farming sessions with this one (only about 30 min each because I was never the only one farming and thought it a moot point) then double checked the area randomly and found 3 of them at once.

There were some in the building rings and one in the crater itself, seems to be about timing for spawns, don't bother battling rats, this is a primary pet only in battles.

Please only tame one, as the stones let you get rares!!!
